Brief Background: Not much is known about Elena's past except for the fact that she's been staying in an apartment in The World that Never Was with a kind elderly gentleman known only as Alfred for as long as she herself could remember. No family photographs. No mementos from her parents. Alfred was the closest to family that she ever had. Life was simple and Elena was content with attending school and pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor. All that changed about 2 months ago when Alfred died in an accident. Elena was shattered. She stopped attending school, her dreams of being a doctor mostly forgotten. It was only recently that Elena finally stopped grieving and began picking up the pieces of her life again
